We had an AWESOME time running art workshops in the Summer!
These were FREE for the children in this community
THIS time, we thought we'd do something a little different... a little more SPARKLY!
We invited Frankie Fann (THE Brighton Book Queen) in to read a book
'Little People, Big Things: RuPaul'
The children immediately understood the meaning of the book: the power of friendship and supporting each other, and the importance of being yourself!
Straight after the Drag Story Time, we had dressing up!!!
In a flurry of sequins, face paint and glitter... The children adorned themselves fabulous clothes from GLADRAGS...
We did not direct the children in any way. We believe they should lead with dressing up, in a way they feel comfortable!
...and WOW look at the LOOKS they put together. GAWJUS.
